Bethany, CT - Joister Pacheco-Attaide Killed In Barn On Litchfield Tpk

Bethany, CT (April 26, 2019) – On April 25, state police responded to the scene of a worksite accident at a barn on Litchfield Turnpike.

A state trooper working on a site nearby heard a loud crash and went to see what happened. A man was yelling for help and stated someone was trapped under the barn. Around 8:42 a.m., State police and first responders received the call for assistance. According to reports, 38-year-old Joister Pacheco-Attaide was working on a barn as part of a team of contractors when it collapsed. Emergency crews arrived at the scene to find Pacheco-Attaide unresponsive underneath the structure.
