Wethersfield, CT – Crash On Gilbert Avenue Results In Injuries

Wethersfield,  CT (July 26, 2019) – On July 23, police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the intersection of Gilbert Avenue and Maple Street just after 4:00 p.m.

According to reports, a red Volkswagen sedan and a black Nissan collided along the roadway for unknown reasons.

Crews worked to secure and clear the scene of the incident. However, due to the location and time of day, the accident resulted in an extensive traffic jam.

One person was injured in the collision and transported to an area hospital for treatment.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
