Westport, CT – Accident On Merritt Parkway Results In Injuries

Westport, CT (May 2, 2019) – On May 2, Westport police and firefighters responded to the scene of a multi-vehicle accident along Merritt Parkway just before 9:30 a.m.

According to reports, several vehicles collided along the northbound side of the Parkway for unknown reasons. One vehicle was facing the wrong way, one sustained minor damages in the collision, and another vehicle was heavily damaged on the rear.

Three individuals were evaluated by the Westport Fire and EMS, while two of them ended up being transported to Norwalk Hospital for their injuries. Crews remained at the scene for several hours before reopening the roadway.

We hope the three individuals injured in this collision are able to make a fast and full recovery.
