West Haven, CT – Pedestrian Killed In Crash Near Boston Post Road

West Haven, CT (May 24, 2019) – On May 23, Police for the City Of West Haven responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the area of Boston Post Road and Front Avenue.

According to reports, around 8:30 p.m., police received a report of a motor vehicle accident in which a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the roadway as he attempted to cross Boston Post Road.

The unidentified victim was located at the scene in the roadway. The injured male was transported to an area hospital for medical treatment.

Authorities later confirmed that the male succumbed to his injuries. At this time, the cause of the incident remains under investigation.
