Waterbury, CT – Update - Henry Pearson Identified As Victim Of N Main St Crash

Waterbury, CT (August 5, 2019) – Around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 3, Waterbury Police received the report of a motor vehicle accident on North Main Street.

Police arrived at the scene to find a male in the roadway. Reports from law enforcement show that 69-year-old Henry Pearson was crossing North Main Street during the early morning hours when he was struck by a motor vehicle. Pearson was transported to an area hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The driver of the vehicle fled the scene without rendering aid.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
