Waterbury, CT (May 9, 2019) – On May 8, Waterbury Police responded to the scene of a vehicle collision on Berkeley Avenue.
The incident occurred around 8:10 p.m. According to police, an SUV was traveling south along Berkeley Avenue when it struck an unoccupied car, which was parked on the side of the road. The impact of the collision caused the SUV to roll over several times.
The driver of the SUV was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced deceased at the scene. Two other teens inside the SUV were injured and transported to an area hospital for medical treatment.
