Waterbury, CT – Hit And Run Crash On Plank Road Results In Injuries

Waterbury, CT (June 27, 2019) – On June 26, during the morning hours, emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Plank Road.

According to reports from Waterbury Police, a black Acura was traveling west along Plank Road when the vehicle crossed over the center lines and collided with a westbound Honda head-on.

The impact of the collision resulted in extensive damage to both vehicles. The driver and one passenger from the Honda had to be extricated by fire crews at the scene.

In all, the passengers of both vehicles were transported to area hospitals for injuries sustained in the collision.

Police report that the driver of the Honda fled the scene of the incident on foot. At this time, the collision remains under investigation.
