Wallingford, CT- Two Trucks Crash Causing Injury at Rt. 68

Wallingford, CT (June 15, 2019) - Officials are confirming that a crash which occurred Saturday, around 7:00 a.m., between two trucks, ultimately resulted in minor injuries.

Route 68 at North Farms Road was closed following the incident. The closure lasted for approximately two hours.

Sgt. Forcier of the Wallingford Police Department also detailed information regarding the chemical spill that resulted from the accident. DEEP officials were called to the scene of the incident to assess the spill and provide clean-up activities.

We are thankful those involved only sustained minor injuries and that the crash was able to be cleaned up thoroughly.
