Voluntown, CT - People Trapped In Car At Ekonk Hill Rd.

Voluntown, CT (August 17, 2019)At approximately 2:30 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, emergency crews were called to the scene of a serious crash at Ekonk Hill Road. According to sources, there were critical injuries as a result of a crash.

People were reported to be trapped in a car as a result of a crash in Voluntown, in New London County. Sources reported that at least four ambulances arrived at the scene. The Connecticut State Police were also responding to help with the accident.

The details of the accident and the cause have not yet been reported. Identities of those injured parties were also not released. More information will be provided as it is uncovered by authorities.

The investigation remains ongoing.
