Vernon, CT (July 5, 2019) – LifeStar was reported to have flown one person to the hospital following a crash that took place late Thursday night, July 4, in the town of Vernon. According to authorities, two vehicles collided at the intersection of Dart Hill Road and Thrall Road at approximately 11:30 p.m. 

At this time, the details concerning the events that led to the crash are unclear but emergency services were dispatched to the scene immediately. One victim from one of the vehicles was airlifted to Hartford Hospital with injuries that are considered serious. The sole occupant of the other vehicle was not hurt in the collision.

Police are actively conducting a thorough investigation into the cause of this incident.
