Bridgeport, CT (December 8, 2019) - Bridgeport EMTs, firefighters, and members of Bridgeport's Police Crash Investigation Unit responded to the scene of a serious accident on Fairfield Ave.
At around 2 in the afternoon, Babycos Wynne Naber, 62, was driving her 2013 Nissan Versa westbound on Fairfield Ave. She was turning left onto Clarkson Street when a 2013 BMW struck her vehicle. Maryellen Carfo, 64, was driving her vehicle eastbound on Fairfield Ave when the collision happened. Ms. Naber's vehicle spun into the intersection of Fairfield Ave and Morehouse Street.
Ms. Naber was immediately transported to Bridgeport Hospital with serious injuries. Ms. Carfo was also treated at the hospital, but her injuries were minor and she was released later that day.
