Thomaston, CT – Thomas Hill Killed in Crash on Waterbury Rd

Thomaston, CT (August 27, 2019) – On August 25, at approximately 6:30 p.m., emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Waterbury Road.

According to reports from the Thomaston Police Department, a pickup truck and a Kia Optima collided head-on along the roadway.

The driver of the pickup truck incurred some injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

The driver of the Kia, who was later identified as 54-year-old Thomas Hill, was transported to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

At this time, the Thomaston Police Department, as well as the Collision Analysis Reconstruction Squad from the Connecticut State Police, are investigating.
