Suffield, CT – Collision On Route 159 Results In Serious Injuries

Suffield, CT (August 1, 2019) – On August 1, around 9:00 a.m., emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident near the intersection of Route 159 and Mapleton Avenue.

According to reports, two black sedans collided along the roadway for unknown reasons. The impact of the collision caused extensive damage to the front of both vehicles involved.

Two individuals were trapped inside their vehicles and had to be extricated.

Several individuals involved in the collision sustained injuries and were transported to area hospitals for treatment.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
