Stafford, CT – Accident At Sun Valley Beach Club On Old Springfield Rd Results In Injuries

Stafford, CT (July 15, 2019) – On July 14, over six thousand people gathered for an MDA Ride and Concert. What started as a joyful event turned terrifying near instantly.

At approximately 6:09 p.m., emergency crews reported to the vicinity of site 21 at the Sun Valley Beach Club on Old Springfield Road.

According to reports, a group of six individuals was riding on a golf cart when the vehicle overturned. All six individuals on the vehicle were injured.

Five of the injured victims were transported to a trauma center in the Hartford-area. The sixth victim declined transportation at the scene.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
