Seymour, CT – Several Injured In Multi-Car Crash On Route 8

Seymour, CT (May 8, 2019) – On Wednesday, May 8, the Connecticut State Police responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Route 8.

According to a report from the Department of Transportation, around 2:20 p.m., numerous vehicles collided along the roadway, between exits 22 and 23, just north of Seymour.

Several individuals were injured in the collision and were provided medical attention for their injuries. State Police opened the right shoulder of the roadway for vehicles to pass through as they assisted injured victims, provided transportation via ambulance to area hospitals, and cleared the scene of the incident.
