Posted by Connecticut Accident News | Jul 09, 2019 | 0 Comments

Seymour, CT (July 9, 2019) – Police currently have reason to believe that at least minor injuries were suffered after a collision involving a large truck that took place on Tuesday, July 9, in the town of Seymour. Authorities stated that the crash happened along Route 8 around 8:00 a.m., near Exit 20 to Lower Derby Road.

Emergency medical crews arrived at the scene where they likely attended to at least one injured party. However, there has been no word concerning the seriousness of those injuries at this time. It is currently assumed that no more than two vehicles, including the truck, were involved in the collision, but police have not verified the number of people affected by the crash.

At this time, police are actively conducting a full investigation into the cause of the crash in order to determine liability.

We would like to offer our sincere sympathies to the injured victim or victims of this collision.
