Sacramento, CA- Fatal Bicycle Crash Kills One at Elder Creek Rd. and Stockton Blvd.

Sacramento, CA (April 25, 2019)- A driver and a bicyclist crashed for reasons unknown near Elder Creek Road and Stockton Boulevard on Tuesday, April 23 at approximately 8:40 pm, leaving one dead.

According to police reports, emergency personnel arrived at the scene to find the bicyclist in the road with major injuries. Paramedics took him to a local hospital where he later passed away. His identification has not been released pending family notification.

The driver of the vehicle involved in the crash stopped at the scene and cooperated with police.

The cause of the crash is currently unknown. An investigation is underway.
