Orange, CT – Motorcyclist Killed In Collision On Derby Milford Road

Orange, CT (August 7, 2019) – On August 3, Orange Police and emergency crews reported to the scene of a motor vehicle collision on Derby Milford Road just after 9:15 p.m.

Reports from the scene indicate that a 63-year-old woman was traveling along the roadway in a Mercedes. As the driver attempted to turn south onto Derby Milford Road from Glenbrook Road, her vehicle collided with a motorcyclist, who was traveling north along Derby Milford Road.

The 38-year-old male motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

The driver of the Mercedes was uninjured in the incident.

Authorities later confirmed that the motorcyclist succumbed to injuries sustained in the collision shortly after they arrived at the hospital.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
