New Haven, CT (November 16, 2019) - The fire department, city police, Connecticut State Police, and American Medical Response all arrived at the scene of an accident at 2 a.m. on Saturday.

Jason Goglas, a 32-year-old man and resident of New Haven, was exiting I-95 South at exit 47. He swerved, hitting the left guardrail, and was then propelled into the right barrier wall. His car bounced off the wall and hit the left barrier wall, where it remained. The reason for the crash is still unknown and police are investigating. Jason Goglas's car was the only car involved in the accident.

The Department of Transportation reported that Route 34 was closed down for a bit, but reopened by 7:30 a.m. the same day of the crash.

Our thoughts are with the victim and his family.
