According to reports, multiple vehicles collided along the roadway for unknown reasons. The collision caused the highway to shut down between exits 66 and 67 on both directions of the highway.
Emergency crews requested the assistance of multiple ambulances and LIFE STAR helicopter to provide transportation to victims injured in the crash.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
