Norwalk, CT – Police Respond to Scene of Crash on Interstate 95

Norwalk, CT (July 9, 2019) – On Tuesday morning, July 9, police and emergency medical crews were sent to the scene of a motor vehicle collision in Norwalk. The accident was reported to have taken place around 7:30 a.m. along I-95, at or near the Exit 16 on-ramp. 

Authorities stated that the crash, which happened in the southbound lanes of the interstate, is believed to have resulted in at least minor injuries as traffic dramatically slowed in the area for an unspecified length of time. Paramedics have not reported on the seriousness of injuries and it is currently unclear as to whether or not more than two vehicles were involved.

No further information has been provided at this time. The official cause of the crash is actively under investigation.
