North Stonington, CT (June 18, 2019) – On Monday, June 17, the Connecticut State Police responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Pendleton Hill Road.
Reports for the accident indicate that 34-year-old Mindy Jones was traveling south along the roadway in a 2007 Toyota Camry when, for unknown reasons, her vehicle collided head-on with a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee, which was driven northbound by 53-year-old Kathleen A. Laflamme. The collision occurred in the northbound lane of the roadway.
Ms. Jones sustained serious injuries in the collision. She was transported to Westerly Hospital where she was later pronounced deceased.
Laflamme sustained minor injuries and was transported to Westerly Hospital for medical treatment.
