North Haven, CT (June 4, 2019) – On Monday, June 3, North Haven Police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Montowese Avenue and Universal Drive.
According to reports, a tandem CT Transit bus carrying 17 people on board was struck by a semi-truck in the intersection for unknown reasons.
Six adults and one child were injured in the collision. Emergency crews transported all seven individuals to area hospitals for medical treatment to injuries.
Police responded to the site of the accident to redirect traffic and clear out the roadway. At this time, the cause of the collision remains under investigation.
