Southbury, CT (October 4, 2019) - Connecticut State Police responded to reports of a serious crash between a truck and car at around 4 p.m.

Pamela Sheehan, 38, of Newtown, was driving her Toyota on Southford Road when she collided with a Peterbrilt truck. Police say the cause of the incident was that the truck was going north and Ms. Sheehan was going south on the same road. Regrettably, Ms. Sheehan was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

Our thoughts are with the victim and her family.
