New Milford, CT – Crash On Route 7 Results In Injuries

New Milford, CT (May 29, 2019) – Around 8 a.m. on May 29, police, fire and EMS responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Route 7.

The incident occurred at the intersection of Kent and Cedar Hill Roads. According to reports, two vehicles collided head-on near the intersection. One person involved in the collision was trapped inside of their vehicle.

Firefighters spent 15-minutes extricating the injured person from their vehicle. The injured victim was transported to Danbury Hospital for treatment to serious injuries sustained in the collision.

The cause of the incident remains under investigation at this time. Crews were able to clear the roadway and restore traffic within one hour.
