New Milford, CT – Christina Walters Identified As Victim Of Route 7 Collision

New Milford, CT (June 12, 2019) – On June 11, New Milford Police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Route 7.

According to reports, a car and a dump truck collided along the roadway for unknown reasons. The impact of the collision forced the truck over the embankment before it landed in the Housatonic River.

The car was forced over the embankment and into a tree, causing fatal injuries for the driver.

The driver of the car was later identified as 24-year-old Christina Walters.

At this time, we are not sure of the status of the truck driver.

Our deepest condolences go out to the family of Christina Walters.
