New Haven, CT – Woman Dies As A Result Of Injuries From Incident At Peck St. & Ferry St.

New Haven, CT (June 30, 2019)The New Haven Police Department reported that there was an accident in the Fair Haven neighborhood in the very early morning hours on Sunday. Around 4:11 a.m., police arrived at the scene, near the intersection of Peck Street and Ferry Street. They found a woman critically injured on the ground.

According to sources, police believe that the woman was either a pedestrian that was hit or a former passenger of a car that had fled the scene.

The victim's identity has not yet been released but her age was reported to be 46 years old. She was immediately transported to the hospital, where died from her injuries shortly after arrival.

The investigation into the cause of the accident and its details are ongoing, but the New Haven police are asking anyone with information to call them at 203-946-6304.
