New Haven, CT – Pedestrian Killed In Crash With Motorcycle On Ferry St

New Haven, CT (August 9, 2019) – On August 8, just before 7:15 p.m., emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Ferry Street.

According to reports, a 48-year-old male was attempting to cross the roadway at the intersection of Ferry Street and Lombard Street when he was struck by a motorcycle.

The motorcyclist and the pedestrian both sustained serious and life-threatening injuries and were transported to an area hospital. Authorities confirmed that the pedestrian later succumbed to his injuries in the hospital. The 30-year-old motorcyclist remains in critical condition.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
