New Haven, CT – Pedestrian Killed In Crash On Middletown Avenue

New Haven, CT (August 20, 2019) – On August 20, at approximately 3:45 a.m., emergency crews responded to the scene of an accident near 662 Middletown Avenue.

According to reports, a 32-year-old man entered the roadway in the area for unknown reasons. Just as the man entered into the road, he was struck by a motor vehicle.

The male sustained life-threatening injuries in the collision and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. Authorities later confirmed he succumbed to his injuries.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement.

At this time, the collision remains under investigation.
