New Haven, CT- One Critically Injured after Stabbing at Bar on Blatchley Ave

New Haven, CT (May 19, 2019) -   Police have responded to a stabbing during the early hours of Sunday morning.  The victim suffered a stab wound to the abdomen and the wound is life-threatening.

At approximately 2:00 a.m. a 49-year old New Haven resident was seriously stabbed in a fight that occurred on Blatchley Avenue.

The victim was rushed to Yale-New Haven Hospital for treatment.

According to witnesses, there was an argument at the Calypso Lounge prior to the altercation.  

Police are urging witnesses to the altercation to come forward with information and call them at (203) 964-6304. Sources have confirmed that the victim is currently in critical condition.
