New Haven, CT – Juvenile Seriously Injured In Bicycle Accident On Fowler Street

New Haven, CT (August 21, 2019) – On August 20, just after 5:00 p.m., the New Haven Police Department received a request for assistance regarding a motor vehicle accident on Fowler Street.

According to reports, a juvenile male was riding a bicycle along Fowler Street, between Amity Road and Frederick Street, when he was struck by a motor vehicle.

Crews arrived at the scene to find the child unresponsive. Emergency crews transported the boy to an area hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.

The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement during the initial investigation.

An accident reconstruction team took over the scene and began to conduct their investigation before the roadway was reopened. At this time, the collision remains under investigation.
