New Haven, CT – Dirt Bike Crash On Chapel Street Results In Injuries

New Haven, CT (May 30, 2019) – On Thursday, May 30, police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident near the intersection of Chapel Street and High Street in downtown New Haven.

According to reports, two riders on a dirt bike collided with a motor vehicle at the intersection around 6 p.m. The dirt bike collided with the side of the car, causing glass to shatter all over the driver's face. The two dirt bike riders were ejected and landed on the pavement on the opposite side of the vehicle.

The two riders on the dirt bike were both injured and transported to an area hospital for medical treatment immediately following the incident.

The cause of the incident remains under investigation at this time.
