New Haven, CT – Authorities Release Identity of Woman Killed in Crash on Peck Street

New Haven, CT (July 4, 2019) – Police in New Haven have released the identity of the woman who sadly lost her life following an accident that occurred Sunday, June 30, on Peck Street. Danielle Buonomano, 46, was pronounced deceased due to injuries she suffered during the accident that took place at 4:11 a.m. 

Police stated that officers and emergency crews arrived at the scene on Peck Street near Ferry Street, where they found the Buonomano suffering from serious injuries. The victim appeared to be the victim of a pedestrian crash but the vehicle involved fled the area. 

Buonomano was immediately transported to the hospital, where police confirmed that she was pronounced deceased. The crash occurred in the 200 block of Peck Street and remains under investigation at this time.
