Mystic, CT – Woman Injured In Hit And Run Crash On Water Street

Mystic, CT (June 19, 2019) – On June 16, emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Water Street in Mystic.

According to reports, during the early morning hours, a woman was walking along Water Street when she was struck by a motor vehicle in the roadway. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene before authorities arrived.

The woman was seriously injured in the incident and was transported via ambulance to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Shortly after the collision, authorities located the responsible driver and vehicle in Stonington.

At this time the incident remains under investigation.
