Middletown, CT – Injuries Suffered in Crash on Interstate 91

Middletown, CT (July 10, 2019) – Around noon on Wednesday, July 10, a portion of Interstate 91 was closed down following an injurious motor vehicle collision, according to police. Authorities stated that a crash took place in the southbound lanes of the interstate, between Exits 20 and 21.

At this time, police have not released any information concerning the cause of the crash but no more than two vehicles are believed to have been involved. Emergency responders, including a medical helicopter, arrived at the crash site to render aid to any injured victims. 

Police have not reported on the extent of injuries or the number of those involved but the roadway was reopened around 2:00 p.m. The events that led to this incident are currently under investigation.
