Manchester, CT – Injuries Reported In Collision On Interstate 84

Manchester, CT (August 26, 2019) – On August 25, just before 3:30 a.m., emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle collision on Interstate 84.

According to reports, a motor vehicle collision occurred along the westbound side of the interstate between exits 61 and 59.

The impact of the collision caused extensive damage to at least one vehicle involved. Crews had to request the assistance of Truck 2 for extricating the trapped victim. At least one person was transported to an area hospital for treatment following the crash.

The incident remains under investigation at this time.
