Plainfield, CT (October 31, 2019) - A man from Louisiana died on Thursday after a fatal pulley system accident.

According to police, an expansion joint was being replaced by a crew of workers at Plainfield Renewable Energy Plant on 12 Millbrook Road. The replacement was going smoothly until the pulley system suddenly let go. The joint fell and trapped 39 year old Justin Scott beneath it. The other workers called emergency services and an ambulance came to take Mr. Scott to the hospital.

Unfortunately Mr. Scott was pronounced dead at the hospital at which he was treated.

Our thoughts are with the victim and his family.
