Madison, CT- Pedestrian Injured in Hit-and-Run at Middle Beach Rd. & W. Wharf Rd.

Madison, CT (May 12, 2019) -   Sources are reporting that a pedestrian, identified by police as a male in his 50's, was hit on Saturday morning.  The incident happened around 9 a.m. at the intersection of Middle Beach Road and West Wharf Road.

The vehicle involved was described as a dark-colored Jeep and should be showing front-end damage on the passenger side.

Authorities have indicated that the victim was taken to the hospital and he is expected to recover.

Police are asking the public for any information and for witnesses to the incident to call them.  The investigation into finding the driver of the Jeep remains ongoing.

We hope that whoever is at fault for this accident is found soon.  Our thoughts are with the injured pedestrian and hope that he sees a full and fast recovery.
