Madison, CT - Portion Of Route 80 Closed From Head-On Collision

Madison, CT (July 6, 2019)Sources reported that a head-on crash closed a portion of Route 80 during the afternoon hours on Saturday. The portion of Route 80 which was entirely closed included the area between Durham Road and Summer Hill Road.

The police and emergency crews were on the scene to assess the damages and provide aid to the injured parties. The severity of the injuries has not been reported.

As a result of the road closures, there were traffic delays and the police advised drivers to use alternate route options. The investigation into the cause of the accident remains ongoing.
