Posted by Connecticut Accident News | May 01, 2020 | 0 Comments

Rocky Hill, CT (April 29, 2020) - Shortly after 2 in the afternoon, a motorcycle collision shut down part of I-91 North.

It is still unclear how exactly the collision occurred, but it has been reported that the motorcyclist involved in the incident passed away due to his injuries. It is unclear whether or not he was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident or passed away afterwards.

The accident occurred near I-91 North's interchange with Route 9. This was in Rocky Hill, CT. This area of the highway was subsequently shut down following the accident due to clean up and investigation. Traffic was congested for miles behind the accident for a few hours. Traffic was diverted off Exit 21 according to CT State Police's Twitter account.

Our thoughts are with the victim and their family.
