Harwinton, CT (June 28, 2019) – On June 27, around 7:30 p.m., emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in front of 111 Hill Road.

According to reports, a pedestrian was crossing the roadway when they were struck by a motorcycle.

The pedestrian sustained serious injuries in the incident and was transported via Life Star to an area hospital for medical treatment. Authorities confirmed that the pedestrian has since succumbed to their injuries. The motorcyclist was injured in the collision and transported to an area hospital via ambulance for treatment.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
