Hartford, CT – Emergency Medical Crews Summoned to Accident Site on Interstate

Hartford, CT (July 9, 2019) – Police in Hartford were dispatched to Interstate 84, just beyond Exit 50, in response to a motor vehicle accident with possibly serious injuries late Tuesday afternoon, July 9. The collision happened at 5:42 p.m. in the westbound lanes of the roadway. 

According to authorities, at least two vehicles are believed to have collided along the interstate, near U.S. 44 westbound, for unknown reasons. Paramedics were called to the scene, and while the severity of injuries has not been stated, at least one person is assumed to have been hurt in the crash. 

At this time, police have not reported any information concerning the events that led to this incident, as the details are likely under investigation.
