Hartford, CT – 17-Year-Old Hurt In Scooter Crash On New Park Avenue

Hartford, CT (August 20, 2019) – On August 19, at approximately 11:30 p.m., emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on New Park Avenue.

Reports from the police indicate that a 17-year-old on a scooter was traveling through the area of New Park Avenue and Merrill Street when they collided with a motorcycle.

The scooter driver was seriously injured in the collision and transported to an area hospital for treatment.

The Hartford Police Department's crime scene accident reconstruction team responded to the scene to try to determine the cause of the incident.

At this time, the collision remains under investigation.
