Hartford, CT – 16-Year-Old Arrested In Fatal Collision On Broad Street

Hartford, CT (May 13, 2019) – On May 13, Hartford Police Department announced that they have arrested a 16-year-old teen in connection with the fatal collision that resulted in the death of 44-year-old Jose Mendoza.

According to reports, On April 6, a 16-year-old stole a vehicle and crashed it near Broad Street and Grand Street. The teen crashed the vehicle into the car of another person, which ultimately lead to their death.

Hartford Police announced that the teen will be charged with first-degree manslaughter, first-degree evading responsibility, reckless driving and third-degree larceny for this incident.
