Hartford, CT - Crash With Injuries At I-84 East

Hartford, CT (August 24, 2019) - A motor vehicle accident took place at I-84 east approximately 0.16 miles before Exit 49 at High Street. The afternoon crash is believed to have resulted in injuries, none of which were critical.

The Connecticut State Police Department officials were on the scene around 12:24 p.m. to help those involved in the crash and clear the accident off of the road. Traffic was significantly slowed as a result. The accident was cleared off the road around 10 minutes after the authorities arrived.

The cause of the crash has not been released. The authorities are still investigating, and as more information comes to light, it will be released to the public.
