Hamden, CT – Injuries Reported In 6-Car-Crash On Dixwell Ave

Hamden, CT (July 18, 2019) – On July 17, Hamden Police and Fire Officials reported to the scene of a motor vehicle collision on Dixwell Avenue, in front of the local high school.

Reports from fire officials indicate that six vehicles collided along the roadway for unknown reasons.

The impact of the collision caused extensive damage to the vehicles. Four victims involved in the collision had to be extricated by responding officials.

In total, five people were injured and transported to area hospitals for treatment.

At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
