Groton, CT – Two Seriously Injured In Crash On Gold Star Highway

Groton, CT (May 16, 2019) – On May 16, just after 11 a.m., Groton Town Police responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Route 184, the Gold Star Highway.

According to the police, two vehicles collided along the Highway for unknown reasons in the area near Mill Pond Road. The drivers in both vehicles sustained serious injuries in the collision. Both drivers were transported to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital for medical treatment.

The cause of the incident remains under investigation. Police closed Route 184 between Gungywamp Road and Route 117 to clear the scene and investigate.
