Griswold, CT (May 28, 2019) – On May 27, emergency crews responded to the scene of a motorcycle accident on Route 201.
According to reports, 38-year-old Javier Dario Santiago was traveling along Route 201 on a Yamaha motorcycle around 7:45 p.m. when his vehicle crossed the center median and struck the side of a Kia Sedona.
The impact of the collision caused Santiago to be ejected from his motorcycle. Santiago was seriously injured in the crash and transported to Rhode Island Hospital for emergency medical treatment. The two occupants of the Kia sustained minor injuries and were transported to Backus Hospital for medical treatment.
