Goshen, CT – Torrington Rd Victim ID’d As Diana Ghi

Goshen, CT (July 23, 2019) – On July 19, the Connecticut State Police responded to a head-on collision in the area of 337 Torrington Road.

According to reports, a Honda CR-V was traveling east near the intersection of East Street South and Torrington Road when it crossed over the center lines and collided with a westbound Honda CR-V.

One person involved in the collision sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene of the incident.

A second person involved in the collision sustained serious injuries and was transported to Hartford Hospital via LifeStar helicopter.

Authorities later identified the victim killed in this accident as 51-year-old Diana Ghi.

At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
