Glastonbury, CT – Man Seriously Injured At EDAC ND

Glastonbury, CT (May 21, 2019) – On May 21, Glastonbury Police Department responded to the scene of an industrial accident at Flanagan Industries.

Police responded to the plant, located at 81 National Drive, during the early morning hours after receiving a call regarding a job site incident. A worker at the location was seriously injured by a piece of heavy equipment.

Reports of the incident show a 58-year-old employee was working at the plant when he became trapped inside an industrial CNC vertical turning center machine.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and transported the injured man to an area hospital by Lifestar.

Our thoughts are with the injured worker and his family at this time.  We hope he makes a full recovery from his injuries.
